I need to fly from Houston to Baltimore as inexpensively as possible on short notice.

I have been looking for cheap airfare to Mexico and found that they are all about the same. The cheapest airlines that I found was Spirit. Kayak is a good search engine or you can go directly to spiritairlines.com

The simplest thing to do is try them.

It is probably the case that one of them is

cheaper for flights from one pair of cities,

A to B, and another is cheaper for flights

from C to D, some other cities.

So try.

If you can live with the restrictions ("anytime

from 6 AM to 10 PM, they pick the airline and

routing, no frequent fly points, etc, no refunds or

exchanges) then the Priceline

"Name your own Price" deal will probably be the cheapest.

Otherwise, just try a few of the big travel sites and

see.

Note that Southwest does not participate in any

of that, so if you want to include them, you have

to their website separately.
