Who has the oldest and most slowest list in the afl?

I think Fremantle have the oldest average age. I don't know what it is or who's the youngest - would be good to find out

Carlton have the youngest team with an average age of 22.8 years

Followed by West Coast, Hawks then the Tigers.

The Richmond list has not aged one day in two years. This year, like 2007, it is frozen in time, with an average age of 23.1.

Fremantle are the oldest with and average age of 25 years

Sydney and Saints closely follow with 24.7 years.

Sydney, Fremantle and St Kilda also rank in the top three for average senior games played, but the club with the best of both worlds is Collingwood, which ranks outside the top eight for age but fourth for games played.

Collingwood's list, on average, has played 70.4 senior games. While this is fewer than last year, when Nathan Buckley and James Clement skewed the tables, it is more than last year's premier Geelong and considerably more than Hawthorn, the Victorian team widely considered to be the next big thing.

Despite the arrival of a bloke named Judd, Carlton will have the least experienced list, averaging a mere 51.8 games per player. No team in the past five years has started a season with a less experienced list of players.

and Carlton the youngest/inexperienced

fremantle have the oldest list and arguably the slowest...

they chose to trade off draft picks to obtain older experienced players in order to win a premiership (hasn't that worked a treat!), resulting in the oldest list.

you could say they are the slowest too as the have no players with exceptional pace, whereas melbourne have davey, whelan etc.

Freo is by age, and melbourne isnt far off it, but melbourne are going worse off than freo, and when neitz and davey and a couple of other great players retire, there going to have to start off from scratch.
