Who has tried out for Canadian Idol?

I am planning to audition for Canadian Idol in the next year or 2, or so. Does anyone want to explain to me their expirience trying out?

I am not so sure about Canadian, but at American Idol, you do a preliminary audition with just one judge then, if you are either really good, or really terrible, you go on to Sing in front of The Terrible Three (paula, simon, and that other guy who I can never remmeber).
