Who has tried using Olympus OM 101? (SLR)?

I had this very old-school SLR. It's actually my father's. I have a photography class that's why I'm using it because I still don't have a Digital SLR. I'm confused about the aperture button of my Olympus Om 101. I don't understand how the aperture button works because There are labels there that says Lens 2 Lens 4 and Lens 5.6. I dont know where to point the 3 small lines of the button.

ANd where can I find the ISO setting?

  1. HI there.    Sorry no one has tried to answer your question.... probably because there isn't anyone on Answers who has used the OM101.   I haven't either... but I did find out that if you google Olympus OM 101 User Manual... you will find a couple of sites that will let you download the owner's manual.   You will need that anyway... if you are taking a photoclass.   What I did read,  your camera is a full program mode SLR... meaning that you do nothing about making or changine the settings.  I don't know if your instructor is keen to that... my instructor required a camera that was able to go in Manual Operations so that we could set the aperture and f/stops.   Anyway, you should check with your instructor.. but for your question above... find that manual from online and download it.    Information in it will give you full instructions on how to operate the camera.  Good luck in your photo class.
