  1. i'd advise you to get a RE agent for this instead of a company. It RE terms, this is usually called a lease-option and the sales price and details are all spelled out. I wouldn't trust just dealing with this national housing program. A good realtor will explain lease/options to you (i bought my first property this way). But you must also be prepared for many RE agents to discourage you as generally speaking, an agent will have to wait the length of the option (usually a year) to collect any commission, so they generally don't like to handle these kinds of deals--but a good realtor will recognize helping you now will generate not only good will, but eventually that commission. As i said, i bought under this scenario and it's a good deal for both buyers and sellers, if it's handled properly. Good luck.
