Who hates it when people kill spiders?

Question

i know that i am going to get alot of negative answers to this question, and i am prepared for that, but if you are gonna want to say something mean to me please hold back just this once, ok?

but anyway i really hate it when people crush spiders.

and the weird thing is that i am terrified of spiders, but i would never crush one.

its not their fault that they are born that way, and its not like they see a human and think "oh, look! someone to kill! im gonna bite them instead of flies and stuff that come in the web!" i mean, if you were a spider you would do the same thing.

how would you like it if something 100 times your own weight cam down upon you and crushed your whole body and crushed your skull in to two part until you finally bled to death and then was thrown into the trash...

and im nawt a hippie, jsyk....

i just really dont like it when people crush ANY type of bugs. i highly doubt anyone is going to agree with me....

but just please tell me what you think.

Life will crush you without warning someday too.  Life is often cruel.  It's simply nature...there is no good or bad.  Had the spider been more subtle and stealthy...it wouldn't have died.  That's what evolution is all about.  I just do my part in life when I kill one.  I'd rather not find a bite on my face in the morning because I didn't.

i dont find  reason to kill anything. i completly and totaly agree with you. i am an ovo-lacto vegitarian. the only thing i kill is mosquitos and they really do think "mm a nice juicy person im gonna bite them. yum!"

and just imagine to some of you people who said you want NO spiders how many other bugs there are. have you forgotten all the bad bugs that spiders "take care of". ew. all the flys and mosquitos and bees and everything else

i love spiders, but i hate it that people kill them, i don't hate the people, just the urge to kill for no reason..

i don't mind if it's for protection, like if you know the spider is about to bite you with no way of taking it outside.. then yeah stepping or squishing it is necessary, think of it as a dog trying to kill you, then you have to have self defense...

I don't like spiders either. And I too, hate when people step on them. if I found one, I would probably at least take it outside, or in the garage.

Personally, I'm shocked that humans could be so inconsiderate enough to kill any living, breathing creature, out of pure irrational dislike.

I was taught when very young, you kill it you eat it, I will not eat a spider therfore thy are safe from me. There are too many other tasty animals.

i hate it they actually help people by building their spider webs and getting rid of nasty bugs for us like mosquitos and other bugs and insects

Humans like to interfere with nature, but ultimately they are a part of it as much as anything else and anything else can concur us back.

We should be living we them, around them, but not killing them.

I don't "hate" it, but I never kill them. I leave them there so that they catch the flies and eat them. Otherwise I pick them up and put them outside.

I do not hate the people who kill them any more than I hate the spiders.  I find it unnecessary to kill any living thing, but I accept that many people are not going to take the chance of getting bit to save a dangerous spider. I eat and enjoy all types of meat and I would be hypocritical to criticize one killer of one form of life when I consume another form,  If we teach our children respect rather than fear many useful creatures would not be harmed needlessly.

As long as the insects and spiders are outside i don't have a problem, i will leave them be most times, unless of course they are eating my vegetables, but if they invade my house then the bottom of my boot is what they'll see, it would be quick and painless.

I don't kill things, I brush them away, throw them out windows, but I can't kill, I don't see myself as having the right to end such a delicate creatures' already short life unless it is a direct threat to me.

They're not endangered, so I squish. If they're very pretty looking, I take picture, then I squish. They scare me which is why I squish. I dont know what you're beef is, but just TRY to squish, just once. You'll love the feeling after he's dead dead.

I agree with you... I hate it when something bits or stings me, but I normally just swat it away. and almost all the creepy crawlys I find in my house get swept into a cup and dumped back out side. But I'm also the person that's been bit by a dog more than twice and I'm still a dog lover. LOL (P.S. The Dog was mine from an abusive family.)

Ummm i think  most humans are MUCH more then 100 times the weight of a spider try MILLIONS.

Atleast its a painless death for them, they are killed in an instant....wel only if you get it right the first time.

i doubt when you smash spiders that they feel anything and they wont bleed to death. if theres a spider in my house ill kill it but outside i wont harm any bug for that matter

I don't. I hate spiders. they bite me :( and they are creepy. i mean come on. 8 legs 8 eyes and sometimes hairy and there butts are bigger then the rest of them. yucky

I don't kill any creatures and don't like it when others do. I can't understand why people are so intolerant of bugs and insects especially. Without them we wouldn't have the plant life that we do.

Well yeah, I do disagree with you... some spiders are POISONOUS... so even if they are wayyyy smaller than us humans they can still attack and make us sick.

Plus they are ugly.

But believe me, it's not like people get a thrill of killing them. It's kind of in a way to protect themselves. Especially if a spider is in my room!! I'm not going to try to catch it and let it free when I know it will run away from me... I don't want them around me.

i do believe that squishing them is a better death than using chemicals. If you had to die would you have have your entire body crushed in a split second or slowly your skin absorbs the chemicals until you die?

I can't stand seeing someone stomp on a spider. If I see one in the house, I pick it up and put it outside. My family knows not to step on bugs around me, they call me to come get them instead. It might sound nuts to some people, but i'm glad you understand.

they are pretty harmless unless you provoke them. they are actually good to have because they get rid of all the nasty bugs like flies and moths and things.

im not scared of them. they are actually beautiful when you look close up. not that you would want to lol.

i know how you feel its not fair for them. unless it is threatening. we should leave them be and let them live your life,

what if they have family? lol jks. but still.
