Who hates to talk with infants? I hate not having a intellectual conversation with them.?

It annoys me talking with them about nothing.... The conversations are stupid and have no purpose. Should I support my ideas? Or should I talk to them, like they are people?

Infants, toddlers, waddlers, all children are people and as a parent I talk to my children all the time....I even talk to my unborn nephew.

They're not capable of having adult conversations because they're not adults.  Talking with kids DOES have a purpose, though.  They're developing socialization skills and learning how to relate to other people.  Conversations with kids can be quite entertaining if you take the time to listen to them.  Many of them have incredibly interesting viewpoints on things and they have great imaginations :)

Well obviously they do not have the intellectual capacity to understand what you're saying but I still talk to my son like he does. He babbles back and smiles and that's a far better conversation than I have with most people.

Oh, and they ARE people. Just little people.
