I think this is really rude and disturbing and just plain sick! They want to run THIS ad in the paper IN THE TOWN where Tim McLean lived! IF you were a part of the family, what would you think? What would you do? This makes me soooo angry.

What I find REALLY ironic is that the people that make this ad, likely go home and EAT animal meat they bought at the supermarket for food! What a bunch of hypocrites!!!!

i dont think that this ad will he very beneficial to their cause.

it says that people shouldnt eat animals unless we eat humans too??

plus i dont promote the slaughtering of animals but it is what we do to survive

They tried to publish it in the Portage Daily Graphic, but were refused the advertisement placement.

Portage La Prairie is where the crime happened, Tim Mclean lived in Winnipeg. They're about an hour apart.

The Portage Daily Graphic alerted the Winnipeg Sun.  They in turn published the ACTUAL ad for free, as part of a "Can you believe what PETA tried to do" type of article.  Counterproductive if you ask me, they should have alluded to the content in the ad, or accepted payment and published it as an ad.

Well, my guess is they don't go home and eat animal meat.  And no, fellow respondent, we don't need it to survive.

But yes, that ad is horrible.  I understand choosing not to eat meat.  I understand the belief that says it's wrong.  But I will never understand placing human worth equivalent to animal worth.
