It's a team spot but not chosen as a performance. I would like to read your opinion about this sport or what do you think it is.

  1. Waterpolo is a wonderful sport, and it continually amazes me that it isn't more popular. It is a fantastic team sport -- even more than basketball, although there are similarities in the passing strategies -- and requires a very high level of water skills and conditioning. It does need to be played in a swimming pool, and that might be a problem. I used to play water polo, my daughter played water polo, and my granddaughter now plays water polo. Pool time is tighter now than it used to be, and my granddaughter's team sometimes has to practise at 6 in the morning or 10 at night, after the regular patrons, lap swimmers and swim teams have left the pool. Perhaps more pools would be one answer?

Whatever, I'd like to see water polo given more prominence, as it is a great, fast-paced, exciting sport.

  2. Hey there, I'm playing waterpolo in the Netherlands.

  3. It's a sport. You got a ball, two nets and goalies. The objective is like any other exciting, fast-paced sport: put the ball in the net.

  4. My cousin plays it in California.  It looks very hard.  You are in deep water and have to tread water the whole time you are playin'.

  5. water polo is a sport in fact i hav a tournament this weekend and it is for the Junior Olympics!! so it is a sport and u should try it
