seems like everybody is worried about the homeowner during this crisis and no one is concerned with the renter. Renters have very little rights and they vary from state to state. Arkansas for example is one state that has very few renters rights. Who helps out a renter when all of sudden an emergency such as a cancer diagnosis take all the money and the most i have found that you can get if any is 300.00. What kind of a place can you rent for $300.00 dollars a month and god forbid you have a small dog. I have been a homeowner and prefeer to rent as do other clean living law abidding folks. From my research and the wording form government programs , if you do not have a dependent minor living in the home then you are not eligible for certain programs and if you are eligible by thwe time you are finished with the paper work yuo are so disgusted with the questions that dont even apply to what you are applying for that you just want to say to heck with it and move in a tent.

  1. You are not the only renter to feel discriminated against in this mortgage mess.  Owners should need less help from the federal government, not more.  Renters should be the ones getting help.
