If you want to come you better do it soon. Ever since we have become a well to do nation we have started to ruin the place by building holiday homes at the most scenic spots, spoiling the view for everybody else.

There are still some very beautiful areas, where sound planning prevailed (so far), notably Connemara, also the Kerry mountains.
