I think they made some GOOD changes.

I think (so far) there line-up will be

PG - Baron Davis - 2 Time All-Star

SG - Eric Gordon (maybe) - Well I really like him.

SF - Ricky Davis - Pretty good on offense.

PF- Marcus Camby - Defensive POWER house.

C - Chris Kaman - Good rebounder, future all-star I think.

Well that's what I think it should be.

Sucks that they lost Brand though.. lol.

  1. pretty good 2 make the 7th spot or 8th they will make the playoffs they even may go 2nd round but never farther then dat yeah if they had brand and if he waited woooo they would of been beastin every1 with him and marucs camby down low and baron drivin and dishin 2 dem they would probaly be contenders but they would be excitind i like the clippers

  2. sounds good

  3. Sure they do have a stacked lineup. But they are missing one key element which could determine making it to the playoffs or winning a championship. Its called chemistry.

  4. it is a good one but ricky davis is so so

  5. I'll be honest if pour syrup on spit, it won't make em pancakes.  What happened to the Clippers was wrong, but the way of big business in the NBA.  They're actually lucky because if Elton called me and I was Baron, and my first choice was New York, dawg I'da had to renig and go also.  Barons a stand up guy and he'll be good, Gordon... I'll get to him, Ricky Davis... (erratic), Marcus Camby will be a rock, but its crazy insane that he used to battle with Tim Duncan in college, in college, I said in college, and he STILL dosen't have a post game.  Chris Kaman will be Chris, he's earned his respect as well with me, but Gordon is a whole other world.  First he's inexperienced (very), and it showed in the summer league.  He as well as the rest of team need to get better, thats the truth they're in the West.  This ain't a JV league.

  6. Eric gordon probably wont be starting at all this season, only if he shows mad skill from the get go, and also people are forgetting about 2 people, mobley and thornton. i know mobleys best days are behind him, but hes still a vet that can hit the 3 and has good basketball IQ. And with Thornton i know hes only a sophomore, but he did finish all 4 years of college, hes not so young and last season he showed how mature he was, he was playing very effiecent and he will make people forget that maggette is missing this season, the problem with the clippers this season is 2 things, they have a bad injury prone players (Baron Davis, Marcus Camby, and Tim Thomas) and they have no chemistry, i hope they're good i know that they should be one of the more exciting teams to watch this season though.

  7. They're pretty good, not great. That's a huge stretch calling Camby a defensive powerhouse. He's an average shot blocker. The only reason he led the leagues in blocks is because in Denver, people got to the basket so easily he got a lot of chances at blocking lay ups. Don't get me wrong, he's a good player, but you're overrating him.

  8. Average lineup, definitely not good enough to seriously compete in the West. Davis - selfish, Gordon - short. R. Davis- definitely a selfish player, Camby - Old and fragile, Kaman - decent.

  9. good roster, only one problem. no way ricky davis can play the 3, he's more of a 2. and marques camby is nothing other than a center, they should trade camby for a good pf and they will be in business.

  10. Good minus mr.fake triple double.

  11. you dont even have the starting line up right.

    its

    baron

    mobley

    thornton

    camby

    kaman

thats the starting lineup according to the clippers.

  12. Yes, the Clippers made good changes, but they weren't good enough.

Yeah, they might make the playoffs and all, but they aren't getting passed  the Hornets, Lakers, Rockets, Suns, or Spurs.

  13. im a lakers fan but when i heard they lost brand i thought the end BUT getting baron davis and then camby then davis i was impressed and not only is that a good team now they can get better i heard that there in the running for guy from phill and josh smith but dont think they have enough money if they can land 1 of the 2 i think there a top 5 team in the west even without them they can make a push for a playoff spot but alot of up in comming teams out there like blazers gunna be interesting to see how they do gl to both clippers and lakers in 09

  14. not the best but they have progressed

  15. No. Ricky Davis isnt even close to Brand's impact and skill level while Maggette is still better than Gordon for now because he is not proven and inexperienced. Camby is just a rebounding monster. They do have all star potential in Kaman and Baron Davis though.

  16. Great for LAC  fan

  17. They're not one of the best; around average. I think they can still compete for the eighth seed.

  18. they have good line up but whos the backup?

  19. This might not be a perfect barometer for success, but it usually holds true:  A team that picks up Ricky Davis isn't going anywhere.

  20. yea brand screwed baron over, but pretty good besides ricky davis
