Who here has been on the NCL Dawn?

I worked on it and wanted to know what you thought of it.

I went around the Caribbean on that ship.  I don't know if it's the NCL in general, but the food wasn't the best.  As far as the Dawn goes, the artwork on the outside of the ship was extremely gawdy.  Other than that, I had a good time.  I wish we were taken to nicer port cities (I'll never go to Cristobal, Panama again for the rest of my life!!).  The staff were very friendly as well.

On a scale from 1 to 10 a7. Been on the Spirit several times and it is a 10 hands down. More things to do on the ship for people of all ages, more cook outs on the aft decl behind the buffet (deck 11 ) even the crew seemed more friendly. I know no one can please everyone and with that said the Spirit is the best ship of NCLs line I have sailed on.

I went on the Dawn May 2007.  I thought it was a very nice ship. I thought it was kept up well, and I went on the Norwegian Gem in January and while that boat is brand new, I thought the Dawn was comparable. The rooms were good and the food I liked.  The mexican restaurant and food in the main dining rooms were always good.  I think the italian food could be better and the buffet food is nothing better then a school cafeteria.  That is where I thought they could have done better, the buffet.  The Gem though, did make that area better and the buffet on the Gem was great.  

I thought the staff on the Dawn was decent with a few exceptions which I won't say because I don't know where you worked :).  

I think the shows were pretty good as well and I liked the game shows but NCL as a whole needs more entertainment and activities, especially during the day.  The Gem had alittle more then the Dawn but NCL needs to do more pool side games and other activities.  THe casino on the dawn was pretty nice.
