Who here has been to a nude or topless beach? what was it like?

I went to a nude beach in Georgia, the country.  It was nasty on account that every one was morbiddly obese.

I've not been, but I would like to go.  Of course, I am NOT going to be nude myself, I am too shy, but I think it would be neat to hang with others and find out what makes them feel comfortable nude.

Usually topless beaches have more attractive women whereas nude beaches have lots of older naked guys. Because of that, and the fact of being nude myself, I actually find it less sexual to  be on a nude beach than a topless beach. Nonetheless, there are sometimes quite gorgeous women at nude beaches at it takes experience to hold your composure (even though I am trying to be respectful and not stare)

The nude beach is great.  

It's something that everyone should at least try once in their life. If you like it (and you probably will) you'll never want to wear any type of swimsuit again.  

If you don't like it, you've lost nothing except a few hours spent naked in the sun...and you can always put your clothes back on, after all.

Most nude beaches are for the most part like clothed beaches, except some of the people don't wear anything.   However, the location and circumstances can make the atmosphere a little different.  Unfortunately, since, it's still not the norm, one sometimes gets gawkers and let's face it, nobody likes being gawked at.   However, as said above, people usually go out of their way to be protective of others.

Like any other beach, different nude beaches have different feels to them.

Most topless beaches (that are not nude) are topless because that's the norm in that culture, so it's no different to any other beach.   It would be like going to a beach in the U.S. where some women wear swim suits which show their belly buttons.

yes, it wasn't officially a nude beach but many of the women were topless, It was at a campground in Wales, it was odd because it was unexpected. but after we Americans gawked too much they went inside their tents

So many answers from the clueless.

All those "old" people were attending those beaches when they were in their 20's.  If life freaks you out, then yes by all mean, stay away from our "old" paradise.

My wife and I go to nude beaches exclusively.  We hate swimming costumes.  Very relaxing, tends to draw those with positive energy.

I've been to two that claimed to be topless - one really was. This was the French Riviera.  It was really nice.  Lots of girls (mostly pretty attractive) were topless, but not all of them.

The other was one in the Carribean which claimed to be topless, but all of the girls were wearing tops.  Maybe it was just an unlucky day.  Obviously that was just like any other beach - nothing special.

Just like ordinary beach. Nudist is a way of life, it doesn't matter about your or others' appearance. You should go there and enjoy your nudity with the nature, and not gawking at someone else. It should be fun.

I have been to two. One was a lot of older people and mostly men. I shudder even now thinking about it. The second was better. The crowd still had some older folks, but it also had people in the late 20's and 30's, and they guy girl ratio was much more even. I actually enjoyed the second one and would go back again if I were ever in that area again.

I've never been to one but oddly enough, it is well-known that it is mostly dirty old men...

In some countries, however, the regular beach doesn't require tops for women. So, maybe it would be more pleasant to the eyes to go to another country, rather than some beach here in the U.S. designated as a nude beach.

Still, why would you want to see women without their tops? It would just be a big tease, and you would leave with nothing more than what you arrived with, a whole lotta loneliness, right?

I have been to a nude beach and it was really just kinda odd.  I saw one posting - lots of old people - and this is actually quite right.  There were some younger people there too (people I knew) and I found the whole thing kind of awkward.  If you go to a nude beach - men, don't run.  Please.

I've been to several nude resorts and beaches.  It depends on the attitude of the beach or resort what the age range is.  The more wild/party the beach/resort, the younger the people.

there are chicks without their tops on, some are really really hot, and then there are also 60 year old grandma's and you almost want to puke.

Then for the guys, they usually walk around in the small speedos and you just about want to throw up.

But i usually tend to keep my eyes on the water or on the sand, unless you come buy a smokin hot girl with out her top on and you just have to look.

and heck they dont care if you look, thats the reason they arent wearing anything

Nude beaches are , friendlier safer than textile beaches.

Besides it is more comfortable than wearing a clammy swimsuit.
