Who here has had a light chemical peel?

I have very fair skin that has a tendency to be slightly sensitive. I also have a little bit of acne and some surface acne scars. Has anyone had gone for a light chemical peel with something like my situation?

How long did it take for the redness and flaking to subside?

the dermatologist won't do this on olive to dark skin.

i tried a few and they all said no, however, i have seen

the peel on others.  it looks painful for a few days.

they are off from work for about a week or 2.

their faces peel. they look raw, then they heal.

sometimes it looks like slick patches or burns.
