It is a time of unrest in our scociety here in America. Amist the chaos there has been an out-cry from many of the young people to strike against the powers that be. One of my close friends has joined the Truth Movement. My father, husband, brother in-law have all served our country. My Husbands bitter expriences have left him jaded after 17 years in a special forces unit. Now according to my friend, my husband IS the enemy. This isnt about the 9/11 theory. Its more than that. Please, your thoughts on this movement and what it means to have our country under fire from within... Or is it the Governments goal to exterminate the very people who exsist in its fold?

  1. Ok, you have to understand something... the Truth Movement (which I'm not a part of) isn't about undermining the seriousness of 9/11, being unpatriotic, or disrespectful in any way. it's about doing justice to the memories of lives lost by searching for answers in a situation that seems very dubious.  that's all.

  2. I look at the truth movement this way:

    1. Every group has a "meaning or a message" they want to spread to the masses. They also have an agenda as well.

I am not here to go into that or play "they said this or they said that".  Its been all said 100,000,000 times before.

    2. I look at facts, other things like simple mathematics, psychics, and how electronics work. Quite frankly, ever since Waco every time there has been some big event in this country,  such as Waco, Flight 880, Ruby Ridge, the first World trade explosion in 93 and 911.  The simple math, psychics and electronics never quite match the story the networks tell us on the evening news.

The sad thing is I'm not talking about college level stuff, I'm talking about simple high school math & science. Most folks don't care because all that matters to them is Monday Night Football and the 6pack of Bud. They work to enjoy life and relax. They don't care about what goes around them , nor will they ever.

But the truth movement is far, far, far, more than 911 nd the stuff listed above.

Do you know that there are at least 4 folks in jail from Ohio for   the crud they pulled in the 2004 election regarding vote fraud that enabled Bush to win in the recount for the presidential race?

That should of been nationwide news....but it wasn't

  3. Bang,

If that were the case her husband would not be the enemy. It is more of the same conspiracy theory that has been regurgitated over and over again. Her husband is the enemy because they believe all that serve are in on this massive conspiracy. People want to believe that this country is invulnerable to anything. Guess what we are not. So anything that is unexpcted that happens couold never happen.

  4. I happen to disagree with the Truthers who think the government had a hand in what happened on 9-11. I am convinced that what happened was a result of terrorists hijacking planes and flying them into buildings. However, it's a good thing to have people questioning the government at all times and remaining skeptical of the story we're told. So in a way, the Truthers serve a good purpose, even if I don't agree with them.

  5. Well, I did a little search engine work. I guess you are talking about 911truth.org. Checked out their steering committee membership. Quite a collection of folks who come out of the left wing of American political life.

One of the problems I have with any "movement" which seeks to "enlighten me" regarding the truth is the presence of an e-tail outlet selling stuff that advertises the organization. That's another thing I found on their web site.

This type of organization lost me when some involved starting talking about a missile hitting the Pentagon on September 11, 2001 and not a civilian aircraft. Two people I knew were on that plane. They weren't riding on the top of some missile. So , I wonder how deep set their visceral hatred of George Walker Bush is and how deep set their paranoia is to suggest such a callous interpretation of how my two friends died. They aren't engaged in "truth". They are sailing along in a state of psychopathology and trying to peddle it as the truth.

  6. Do you honestly think that the government would have killed 4,000 innocent people for nothing, but would allow the hierarchy of the truth movement to live on?  Don't you think by now, almost 7 years later, that at least one of them would have been involved in a terrible accident.
