A friend and I are taking a three day trip to Cedar Point next month, and we are staying at Hotel Breakers.

What was your stay like?

  1. I've been down to Cedar point once and have booked to go back in June.

The room I've got book this time (which is the same as I had last time) is basic. Coffee maker, Mini fridge...you know the drill. I have no complaints though. I lock up my valuables in the provided safe box and it's just a stone throw away from the park. So much fun!

I recommend waiting until Cedar Point offers a package deal, it's a much better bang for the buck.

  2. I love the Breakers.  If it weren't so expensive, I would probably choose to stay there everytime I went to Cedar Point.

  3. I've also stayed at the "Breakers" for a couple nights a few years back...

It is the oldest hotel at Cedar Point, but things have been updated over the years...

It's a decent place, if a bit over-priced, but then again... you are staying RIGHT ON the point!!  They have some nice swimming pools, which is nice because Lake Erie is not exactly the greatest place to swim...  There is a T.G.I. Friday's right there, and a few other places to eat as well...

Really, the best thing about it is... you can come and go from the park as often as you want... as it is right there and VERY CONVENIENT to do so!!

Have fun... it'll be a BLAST!!

  4. We stay there for a few days every summer.  It's very convenient, right on the beach, has several resturants to eat at, it's pretty easy to see the Peanuts characters if you have kids. They have a couple of outdoor pools and an indoor pool as well as a gameroom. It's a little expensive, but it's usually the only vacation we take each year. We love it. Have fun!
