  2. You had better start changing your sleeping habits now. I don't know when your school starts, but you will probably need close to a month to change a pattern that drastically. My advice would be to NOT attempt to change your pattern gradually, in half-hour increments or anything like that. Just try to go to bed at about 11:00 one night. Even if you can't sleep that early, wake up at about 7:00 in the morning. You might have a miserable day, but that night, you'll be ready for bed.

You can't change a habit like yours in one night. It will be hard for you to get to sleep earlier and especially hard to wake up that early- I went through four years of high school in which I had to be at school at 5:45, so I was up at about 4:00 every morning. So it is possible, but don't wait until right before school to accustom yourself to it.

My two biggest pieces of advice: DO NOT HIT THAT SNOOZE BUTTON, ever, and DO NOT TAKE NAPS, no matter how tired you are.

  3. you wont be abl to wake up without an alarm....unless you go to sleep ealier...its been scientifically proven that the body needs at least 8 hrs when sleeping....or you can sleep at10:00

  4. that is exactly how it is with me. during summer i stay up till 3 or 4, then sleep till 12 or after; during school i get up at 5:45 and go to sleep at 11:30. usually i can adjust within two days or so (but that doesnt mean im half asleep during class with a schedule like mine)

  5. You need to start now going to bed earlier and earlier. We just started making my son go to be at midnight. Next week we will move it back to 11:00. He knows that once school starts, if he has trouble getting up we will move his bedtime back to 10:00 and so on.
