Who here is a fan of the Syracuse Crunch ?

Question

(AHL affiliate for the Columbus Blue Jackets)

The reason I ask is a friend of mine is gonna have a tryout with them and I wanted to see who among you might get to see him

on the ice this season. (Max also has offers from IHL teams but

obviously is hoping to make the NHL)

Ah, I've seen the Crunch play a few times, when they played the Amerks at Blue Cross Arena in rochester.  I'm not in WNY anymore though... so chances of me making it to syracuse aren't very high.

I have a few friends in cuse... none of them are big hockey fans, but I'll try to convince them to go!

I was when I lived there. Great event to go to. The fans are almost as crazy for the crunch as they are SU basketball and that's saying something.

I like hockey on it's own, but the fans there made it electric. I think it's because there aren't a bunch of pro teams near by that distract people in that area.

Your buddy will enjoy his time there.

I get to see a bunch of Crunch players as they move up.I dont follow them too close but watch certain ones come through to the NHL.Hope your friend makes it.

i'm not a fan but i am a fan of some other AHL teams...good luck to him, if he gets on, maybe i'll see him when syracuse play my teams.
