Hmmm...it's totally inappropriate for teachers and students to have any relationship other than a professional one while they are working together in a school.  After the student is out of school and is an adult, it is a matter between the two of them as to whether they can and should have either a friendship or a romance.

No!  A few of my students have gone on to become my friends once I no longer teach them,  but that is what they are,  friends!  They still see me as a teacher and friend, and I see them as friends but also as my students.

Well, I know of some teacher student relations...and no i don't think that they are wrong. Who in the world can choose who they fall for. as long as the student is of legal age and the teacher is of a reasonable age then why not let the student go to their house or give them their number,

Disgusting! I only go for men age 25+ (unless Sidney Crosby asks me out LOL )  Students are kids!  No teacher should ever give out #s, e-mail or Myspace or let them [students] come over their house.

It would be good if the hot teachers at my school were like that, but she doesnt let anyone from our school join her facebook or get her phone number. No student teacher relationships :'(
