He's an imaginary character.  No matter how hard anyone wishes for him to be real, he won't be.  Besides, he's a stalker, manipulative, domineering, and self-centered.  I'm sorry, but that's honestly not the "perfect guy."  I prefer real boys better.  I mean, you can actually touch real boys.  And their flaws usually aren't as creepy.

No, I really, really don't. Yes, he's attractive (we GET it, Stephenie Meyer!) but his behaviour is appalling. He is the very definition of a stalker in Twilight, he controls every aspect of his relationship with Bella, he constantly messes with her head by veering between telling her how stupid she is for wanting to be with him and telling her she is his life and he can never live without her. Being dazzling doesn't make up for that, folks. I was more repulsed still when I read Midnight Sun. He's even more arrogant and condescending than he appears to be when reading from Bella's point of view.
