  1. Ahhh.. Who?

  2. to be where Federer and Nadal are you have to have more than just skill, technique, strength and talent. Nabaldian has all those things in great abundance but it's pretty obvious that he doesn't have the other qualities that are needed: drive, ambition, staying power, discipline, consistency, and concentration.

Nabaldian isn't under-rated;he's precisely where he deserves to be, if what you are referring to is the rating. Do you mean that people don't realise his enormous potential? Well, tennis buffs and experts do but they have also realised all the things that plague his tennis career.

  3. I personally think amongst the top 100 in the ATP, there is a small skill difference between players. Most of the players have the same skill, but the only thing that matters is your attitude and your consistancy (not messing up, unforced errors). In that, Roger excels quite a bit.

  4. I agree with MC !!!

  5. i dont think so

  6. He is quite unique in that he can beat both of them if he puts his mind to it but he lacks focus and consistency and he seems happy with where he is...If Nalbandian wants to win a slam and put his mind to it and all the preparations he might not get the first one but based on is game alone i wouldnt bet against him the second time especially on hard. The guy creates unbelievable angles.

He even said hiself that if he is playing well he can beat anybody...he knows that.Hes just not willing to dedicate himself fully.Which is a pity really

  7. Roger Federer has 12 GrandSlam titles, Rafael Nadal has 3 Grandslam titles and counting. David Nalbanian has 0 Grandslam title. BTW he just lost to a nobody today.

  8. no he is not better.

he is a great player no doubt like we saw at the end of last year.he had a great run beating the top 3 players and winning masters series titles.

but again he has pretty much disappeared.

if he was better than them he would have atleast won one grand slam.he has a great rivalry with federer going back to their junior days and when he plays well he can beat federer.

as for nadal i dont think he can beat him on clay.

this apart i think nalbandian is definitely a great player and i would love to see him being more consistent.the angled backhands he hits are too good.

  9. Nalbandian is a great player as Godzilla exists. The words Nalbandian and "good player" in the same sentence makes me sick.

  10. No. If he were better wouldn't he have won a major already? I have to disagree with you about him being better then Nadal or Federer. I also don't think he's underrated. He needs to play better and be more consistent if he's going to even be mentioned in the same sentence as Nadal and Federer.

  11. no way

  12. no way.-

if he such a great player then why hasn't won a slam, and for the rest of the tournaments, he hasn't done so great either.-

yes, he had his inspired moments, like the end of 2005 but that's it, he's not able to follow that.-

and he's not underrated at all, if something he's overrated, everybody keeps waiting big things from him (which is great, don't get me wrong), specially in south america, when a tournament starts and he plays, he's always the favorite for his country's press.-
