the sonics sucked last year and they will suck this year even with a new name

They were a poor team who was still in trouble before their team was bought out. Durant was their star and he was a rookie. That should pretty much sum up this old team.

Of course they were good when they won the championship (Dennis Johnson & Lenny Wilkins)

In the 90's they were good went to the Finals against the Bulls and had the best record in the NBA and lost and they had the best record in the NBA another year in the 90's and lost to the 8th seed Nuggets. They still were a dangerous team in the 90's. Gary Payton (HOF best defensive pg of all-time), Detlef Schrempf, Vin Baker, Shawn Kemp

In the millenium they had 1 very good year in which they won the Pacific division and beat the Kings in the 1st round lost in the 2nd round. They had Ray Allen and Rashard Lewis and Luke Ridnour, and Vladimir Radmanovic.

They had Durant, Wilcox, Collison is all right now, Watson and Green is good. Sczcerbiak is one dimensional and Delonte was under used. Then you have Petro and other garbage. That just wont do in the west they suck now.

no they were a horrible team that didnt have much. they only had two players that good really hold the team together and both were rookies. it was kevin durant and jeff green. before that sonics had only wilcox ridunoir and zserbiaxc. they didnt do much

the sonics were terrible. i live right by seattle and so i know all about it. everyone here made a big deal about it when they were the least popular sports team in the city. they do have a few good players, like kevin durant and russell westbrook, but the overall team is weak
