so Liberals are telling the chinese to get out of tibet because of "oppression", ok fine, then lemme ask you this:

"why aren't the whites leaving the North American continent or Australia and leave it to the natives?"

you'll probably say: "Oh! because we are not oppressing those natives! we are just living there in peace (despite the mass extermination which happened 150 years ago of course)"

ok then how about this, we will let 200 million chinese (roughly the same amount of whites in N. America) immigrate to Europe, and those chinese aren't going to break any rules (such as burglary or murder), nor are they going to oppress any European people. Would you allow that?

  1. Part of the problem with your question is the natives are in fact Chinese.

It's those such as the Dali Lama who invaded Tibet while China was busy with other wars such as defending against the Japanese.

Tibet has always been China's, if China is guilty of any abuse against Tibet, that abuse is not removing Dali Lama earlier and ending their slavery.

But it's not China who has made the problems there. And it's not the natives crying for independence. It's those who took it over and are trying to finalise their take over.

It's now time for China to take back Tibet and free the people from the opression that they've been put under.

So yes, HELP CHINA FREE TIBET FROM THE DALI LAMA!

  2. Free Tibet? why are we even talking about this. Tibet has always been a part of China, as i have repeated countless times i'm starting to sound like a broken tape recorder. What free Tibet?

I agree with you though. Before you say that someone's house is dirty, look at your own house first.

  3. Honey... You don't even know what you’re talking about... China may not be a GOOD thing for Tibet but they are actually BETTER then the government run by the priests.

Watch this video... It is about people that feel they are "Holier Than Thou" and tells some truths about 3 people held in highest esteem around the world... Including the leaders of pre-China Tibet.

  4. ill take a free tibet in fact ill take anything free. u got a point its all about the angles you look at it from. history is told by the victor. and the chinese government isnt that nice

  5. You know, my problem is this. I could care less what people's opinions are on this matter, as long as their opinion is based on real, educated facts. Unfortunately, so few people do know the facts and rather base their opinions on what they hear from the Western media and Hollywood. They have no idea that they're being told to think a certain way based on tons of misconceptions and lies. So, rather than discuss what I think, I just tell people to go to the following sources to educate themselves and form their own opinions. A history book on Tibet should verify the facts included on these websites.

  6. i'm sorry to tell you, idiot, your fantasy will never come true.

Genghis khan won't agree with you.sorry to hurt your feelings

  7. I think to get Liberal's nerves is easy.

Ask the question: Why don't you want to liberate Iraq but you want to liberate Tibet?

Trust me it works like a wonder.

[[Mr. Hex Vision]] Why do you want to propose a referendum; a Democracy ideal to China? Come on you know CCCP is not going to do that and fall from that trap. Brits and foreigners not only damaged China for splitting and lending Hong Kong and Macau, they damaged China and China was once a prosperous nation in Tang Dynasty but you Brits won't let go. I hated the British Empire for stealing precious artifacts  from China and all the artifacts  is still in the British Museum. I, for the sake of Chinese and the government...please go away and stay out of our foreign affairs. Brits damaged China a long time ago and they are not going to fall flat on their faces again.

[[edit2]] I don't agree that Human Rights in China is an international affair. US/UK are developed country while China is an offspring.

Basic Human rights of Food; Shelter; Anti-Poverty is present in China.

Human rights that Western keeps nagging on which is a secular religion that the evangelists of democracy are trying to spread to other countries. It is ultimately a insidious religion because like the Catholicism of the past, it destroys the indigenous societies it touches. The rampant exercise and exploitation of human rights in the west has already seen the breakdown of many higher values, many more important that the right of the individual to have his own ways. We can't even deport criminals who have committed crimes and may go on to commit more. This is just one example. Yet we want to export this secular religion to others.

  8. Apparently you, C'mon, pack up your bag and fly to Tibet and liberate them, no one stops you, they can't be liberated by your mouth, put it into action.

  9. Yeah sure lets have a free Tibet, like many times I have said, the only way you know that what the people of Tibet want is by a free vote.

BTW you've comparing apples and oranges.

Although the two things you have describe are "fruit" you have the problem of time-scale and integration Tibet happen in the last 50 years America happen in the last 500 years, and to be honest most of the bad things about the USA happen well before my time Tibet is more or less in my time-scale. You grandfathers death means much more to a person than your great great great great grandfathers death....

But if were going to nitpick....

Then what about the natives of Taiwan, or what about Xinjiang or inner Mongolia, lets free Hawaii even the if majority of people on the island are Asian etc etc etc.

[[ART of WAR]] I don't propose a referendum. I find it odd that people claim to know what the Tibetians want. How can you claim to know what the Tibetans or the people of any country want unless you ask them all. The only sure way is unbias way to receive an answer to this question is you have to let them answer the question in private (ie a vote). Proportional sampling is fine be it has a lot of errors and the data can be twisted, so unless you have asked all the million or so people in Tibet if they would be happier under a government of there own choice you can't hardly  say that Tibetans are happier with Chinese rule.

    http://answers.yahoo.com/question/index;...

    - human rights (international)

    - the right to autonomy (international)

Plus the fact that other countries take in Tibetan exiles so it is an international problem.

Likewise I could say that I hate the Chinese empire for there conquests throughout eastern Europe there 1000 year old rule over northern parts of Vietnam etc etc. But I'm not stuck in the past, I don't hate the Italy for the romans, French for there Normans, Swedes for there conquests of Brittian. Taking part in such things is only part of a closed mindset.

BTW I do hope you know that then Macau was first offered back to the Chinese government they did not want it, they only wanted it back then they were ready.

Edit 2: The poster was a Chinese girl and a bright one at that. However all this ranting does not prove what the people of Tibet want.

  10. not me, (this may be a tad long)

Tibet was conquered a couple of hundred years ago by one of the chinese dynasties, and although it claimed freedom while china was busy fighting its own civil war and WW2, every other country was too busy to say 'we recognize your freedom.'

So the dali lama of the time ruled an feudal theocracy, where the common person were regarded as no better then 'talking animals' they were slaves living in small mud huts and serving the monks every will. There were some gruesome practices such as ritual skinning of human children, (there are pictures.) Google it.

so life for the 95% today is much better than it would have been if the dali lama was in charge, they have access to education restaurants all the comforts of life. Better than slavery? yes?

also think about it in terms of money, roughly China invests 3 times the money it gets out of tibet and tibet has no real economy, without a constant 'free' source of money and no america won't give it, it will become just a desolate waste.

The dali lama realizes this and does not want complete independence but 'greater autonomy' instead.  Enough on that though.

now why haven't the americans left america? The natives are all dead and no one is going to argue with america anyway.

anyway where would they all go?

  11. At least Daliar Lama doesn't want to free Tibet, or does he?

Daliar lama said he doesn't seek independence, and yet it states clearly so as an objective in the "Tibetan constitution"

He preaches peace, and yet he ordered monks to use violence

He accuses the Chinese government of religious genocide, and yet he doesn't allow other branches of tibetan buddist to practice religion

He preaches simple life, and yet he lives in 5 star hotel

It seems like Daliar Lama doesn't even know what he wants

Which Dalai should u listen to?

    Google dalai stop lying
