  1. person with the lowest score on the last hole tees off first, then the person farthest from the hole hits first from the fairway or on the green

  2. winner of the last hole

  3. Technically, the person who won the last hole.

In my group, whoever is ready.

  4. I do. I am always first regardless of what my score on the last hole was.

The last guy that tried to hit before me wound up with a 3 wood where the sun don't shine.

  5. Lowest score has honors.

  6. On the tee its the person who had the lowest score on the previous hole. After teeing off, its the person farthest away from the hole (note:  I say hole and not green, because you can be on the green but farther away from the hole that someone off the green),

  7. If you're playing a friendly round amongst friends you shouldn't be worrying about who tees off first.  You should be playing 'ready golf'.  Pace of play and keeping up with the group ahead of you is far more importat than worrying about who is supposed to tee off first.  If you're ready to go and the guy who won the last hole is still routing around in his golf bag for a tee, you should hit.

  8. I'm not sure if there is a rule for who tees off first on the first hole, but we simply flip a tee in the air and whoever it points to tees off first and so on.  After the first hole, the lowest score on the previous hole tees off first, UNLESS there is a tie, and then whoever teed off before the other(s) on the previous hole tees off first.  For each of the next shots, whoever is furthest from the hole shoots first.

  9. who did better last hole

    Hole 5

    ex: John-Par            Mike-Bogey

    Hole 6

    John  tees off first

for the first hole anyone. usually youngust
