  1. I would have to ask in what division.  for men's heavyweight, Klitchko has been approved as THE champion.  You got to be aware that there is more than one heavyweight championship belt.  Mayweather is a champ.  Just check out this link.  Anyone with a "C" next to their name holds a championship.  http://thering-online.com/ringpages/rati...

Try this one for women's http://www.wbcboxing.com/WBCboxing/Porta...

  2. Well, there are currently 4 world titles out there right now in men's boxing- WBA, WBC, IBF, and WBO.  However, the fighters with the Ring Magazine belt are considered the true champions in each weight division.  I'm not really sure about women's boxing because I honestly don't watch it that much and I don't really know who the current champions are.  The following are the Ring Magazine's current champions; for certain divisions, the title is vacant, so I'll just give you the number 1 contender in those divisions:

    Heavyweight: #1- Wladimir Klitschko

    Cruiserweight: Champion- David Haye

    Light Heavyweight: Champion- Joe Calzaghe

    Super Middleweight: Champion- Joe Calzaghe

    Middleweight: Champion- Kelly Pavlik

    Junior Middleweight: #1- Vernon Forrest

    Welterweight: Champion- Floyd Mayweather, Jr.

    Junior Welterweight: Champion- Ricky Hatton

    Lightweight: Champion- Joel Casamayor

    Super Featherweight: Champion- Manny Pacquiao

    Featherweight: #1- Robert Guerrero

    Junior Featherweight: Champion- Israel Vazquez

    Bantamweight: #1- Hozumi Hasegawa

    Junior Bantamweight: #1- Fernando Montiel

    Flyweight: #1- Nonito Donaire

    Light Flyweight: Champion- Ivan Calderon

    Strawweight: #1- Yutaka Niida.

  3. For mens boxing there are many different organizations as well as weight classifications.

    The most notable are:

Sorry for not knowing if it is IBF, WBA, WBC, the rest in my opinion are meaningless

Floyd Mayweather, JR welterweight I think

    Manny Paquio, Lightweight,

    Blah-Blah Peter's Heavyweight

    Clazno? welterweight

Not sure about the rest, or the exact weight classifications, or the organizations.
