  1. George Ferris created a giant wheel for the World's Columbian Exposition. It stood 250 feet above the ground, contained 36 cars, each of which was capable of carrying 60 people, or a total of two-thousand, one-hundred and sixty people at a time. The axle for the 1,2000-ton Ferris Wheel was the largest steel forging in the world.


  2. There was a local DJ in Sandusky,Ohio that attempted that at Cedar Point. I'm not sure if it's the longest record or not but he was there for a while!
