there was someone burned at the stake it thought inthe movie i thought it was her half sister Mary Tudor no? she was waiting on Elizabeth and was sending letters to bring her down thru the laundry i thought this was Mary Tudor no? obviously not if she became queen so who was she?

  1. No, Queen Mary (infamously known as "Bloody Mary") had scores of Protestants burned at the stake for refusing to convert to Catholicism, Needless to say, she was less than popular. The lady you asked about was a lady-in-waiting to Mary's half-sister Elizabeth (later Queen Elizabeth) and was burned at the stake for treason. There were many plots to replace Mary on the throne with Elizabeth (a devout Protestant) and the lady was smuggling letters from supporters back and forth to Elizabeth and was caught.


  2. mary tudor was beheaded so it wasnt her...mary tudor actually shaved her head and wore a wig for the occasion so when the undertaker did the job and pick up her head (common practice in those days) her head rolled off.
