Who in Britain would be Upper Middle-Class, and where would you find these people in abundance?

Notice I said "Upper Middle Class" and not just "Middle Class." My sociology texts tell me there is a difference.

Who makes up the upper middle-class and where would you find them in great numbers.

There is such a broad category of middle class that it is divided into upper and lower. Upper still includes people who have to work for a living, and are generally the highest paid professions such as lawyers and surgeons and the like; they are normally privately education and will probably have attended Oxford or Cambridge, rather than the reed brick universities. They frequent the Home Counties or West End of London.

The Upper Middle class in Britain consists of the educated professionals like,  higher managerial, administrative or professional who generally come from educated backgrounds.These people would traditionally speak with a Received Pronunciation Accent, been educated at Public Schools and Universities. Traditional jobs would include Barristers, Doctors, Army officers, Academics, senior Civil Servants or working as stockbrokers in the City of London.

They are generally concentrated over big cities and towns.

Either in the House of Commons, perhaps Tory, Labour or Lib-Dem or Nationalist  MPs as they are all in bed together with same aims lining their pockets at all our expenses. Or else at the Trades Union Congress posing as being "working class" but in reality lining their own pockets and living a life of luxury at the expense of their membership, while the rest of us have to tighten our belts and lower our standard of living  .
