  1. The CBS poll released information that they have a limit of 32% max for Republican answers. So I guess the Democrats are being polled more than Republicans.

  2. No one has ever asked me either; but I am certain that McCain supporters have rotary phones.

  3. People that still answer telemarketers on their land lines = older people.

Young people don't usually have land lines.  My grandma has a land line and will be voting democrat for the second time.  My parents have a land line and will be voting democrat for the first time.

  4. You know that's a great question. I don't think I've been asked that question either, maybe once a long time ago I'm not sure.

I do remember getting phone calls asking me to take a survey but I generally always just ask them to put me on their do not call list.

Which probably explains why they don't call again soon :-)

There's probably enough people in the country that most people only get called on once in their life time - and in my case I just told them to not call back and didn't answer their survey.

I too would be interested in knowing if people have received these calls.

But this brings up an interesting point - I'm busy and hard working and don't want to take the time answering some silly survey on the phone - but bored less working people who have an axe to grind may be more interested in broadcasting their views on a pole - I wonder if that causes inaccuracies.

  5. No, but I once worked for a company that conducted them.

  6. very good question!
