And if you have in the past, what are some good hints, as I'm going to play this year and need advice, your thoughts please?

The Official AFL one is better. BUT MAKE SURE YOU PICK PLAYERS WHO ARE CONSISTENTLY SELECTED, AND WHO PLAY CONSISTENTLY

The key to success is having the most consistent(ly good) team.

yeah mate, i played the afl one last year, and am playing h/s supercoach this year, u have to be careful who you pick at the start, its not about the best player, its about the guys who win the ball or receive it for that matter, someone like bowden from Richmond, is a good pick, but expensive because he gets a lot of ball.

Bartel, ablett, richo for his pts for marking,scotty west,crossy from the doggies, kirky, those sort of players, you get 20 trades for the year, a maximum of 2 per week, so as i said pick carefully,

some of the young draftees will be cheap, so look at them, they wont be cheap again next year. oh yeah lockyer, h.shaw,thomas score well in their positions too.

iuno if I can be stuffed starting it. I usually suck at tht kinda thing cos I tend to go for my favourite players not the best. but yeah

yeah i'm playing it, usually suck at it but try not to use all your trades every week, that hurts your chances. Pick your team once you know they aren't injured. Don't be afraid to pick up to 5 or 6 Rookies, as the top draft picks usually play during the season.

I've signed up this year for the first.time too.

It took me forever to choose my team,even though I don't know what the h**l i was doing.

yes i am also im doing the dream team on the afl site conserve your trades where possible dont use them until you have to coz later on in the season when injuries start to take their toll you will find that you have none left
