  1. I think I could see Blake Shelton and Dierks  playing shows in their old years.Maybe.


  2. None of today's young stars have lasting appeal.  I think it's going to be some classic women simply because women  outlive men:  Pam Tillis, Patty Loveless, and Suzy Bogguss.  And happy birthday to Kitty Wells -- 89 today!

  3. I don't know if any of them will be around in 30 years. Maybe 10 for some of them. I just don't think anyone in today's country music is going to last. They are people who are popular with 13 year olds. Maybe Miranda Lambert, Tim McGraw and Blake Shelton. I think the artists that are extremely popular right now are just going to dissappear from the scene pretty soon. They won't be around after the 3rd album or so. I don't think they'll be around because there is not much for the pop industry now. They're all crossing over to country which is where Taylor Swift started out. I can already see them on VH1 "where are they now" reality shows.
