I went to 4 games at RWC and I find the Springboks the most arrogant. They also seem to lack a sense of humour or banter.

Yes, the Kiwis & Ozzies are confident but they can handle a joke or two.

Please let anyone win other than SA!

I'd have to say us kiwi's are the most arrogant. We are definately the worst in defeat BY FAR. Whenever we lose it is not because the other team played well. It's because... we had an old team (91), we were food poisoned (95), they played dirty (99). Or because the coaches were awful (Hart, Mitchell). Basically we think we are the best and if we don't come away with a win it is our fault.

I don't think aussies are that arrogant. They talk up a good banter and are fun to take the p**s out of it. When it comes down to it they respect the other team (unless they're English) and will admit the other team outplayed them. I was in Sydney last year and went out to watch the ABs play Aus. The aussies talked up a big game and how they were gonna thrash us, but when they lost they admitted the better team won. Us kiwi's are too serious, I love abit of banter with the aussies.

All Rugby fans are arrogant, because they are passionate supporters of their teams(and good on them at least they are passionate about something in their lives.).  New Zealand supporters are the most knowledgeable about the game ( rules, players abilities, a teams performance) why?  Because we are the most arrogant and bloody proud of it mate!!!!!!!!!!

For pure arrogance South Africa, New Zealand are "overly confident" but us Aussies know we are the best ! or atleast most professional and capable of beating the best !

I used to think it was the South Africans. But after their semi final defeat by the Aussies in 1999 I changed my mind. I was at the game & after the match I had a ball with the Yarpies in the pub, none of them had a bad word to say, all wished Australia good luck in the final.

I would have to say the most arrogant fans are the Kiwis, I know the Aussies are up there too, but the Kiwis think all they have to do is turn up & collect the cup this year. It's like they all think they have a god-given right to be world champs.

No one likes to lose but the Aussies HATE defeat, and the English cannot hack the fact that they are simply not good enough to retain the RWC and like in soccer, they will harp on about being the RWC winners in 2003 for decades to come!

There is no way kiwis are the most arrogant. They may appear it, but if you have a look at the media and listen to people, they are ridiculously pessamisstic! Its crazy, you ask most kiwis and they don't think they'll win the world cup! It drives me mental!!!! There is NO WAY they are arrogant in reality, although they have every right to be. The Aussies are very arrogant, and so are the South Africans. I think supreme confidence is good in sport, maybe not arrogance, but when fans and a team are confident its a huge advantage (hence why I don't think NZ will win).
