marco polo spoke of a frozen treat he had while visiting china. that is said to be the precursor to ice cream. he liked it so much that the italians created a recipe for it.

Um I think a black guy invented ice cream but I do not know his name. But whoever invented it is a complete genius!

Like most things ice cream oringinally came from china. But was adopted by the Italians. The Indians also have a version called Kulfi which melts very slowly.
