King by the grace of God ?

I don't think God as any thing to do with it, as a King  become what he is  by killing every one who stand in is way.

The "Grace of God" is because, at the time people where not educated , and fearful of God ,and the kings used to pretend to be superior to any other person., and to be closer to God, Nothing really changed since, really . Look around you.

The oldest known example of being King is from the Book of Genesis, which says Nimrod (great-grandson of Noah) was King of Babylon.  However, Nimrod was a "mighty hunter in opposition to Jehovah."  Meaning that he was cruel and cold-blooded and would often hunt humans, too.  He was finally killed while Boar hunting, with the Boar ripping his body into pieces (this is where the story of Isis and Orisis began).

I think titles like kings and queens were just created as a natural result of some people being leaders and others being followers.  People started calling these leaders by different things to distinguish them from everyone else.
