It is when you allow your body to rest physically but on the other hand works invisibily on other functions

i dont think any one invented it. its all natural. when ur tired. u sleep ( shut down ur brain ) to rest. its like a small baby , when he was born into this world. no one taught him to sleep. he just sleeps

I would say that is the most waste of time.....we.spend the most time doing that ALL our lives, and eternal after we gone!

However, sometimes inventions go haywire. It's 5:08 am EST and evidently sleep is not working for either of us right now.
