  1. Somewhere back in time, (1938, if you are reading this in Kansas) scientists noticed that when people go to sleep, their heads dangle at a funny angle unless they are propped up. To meet this need, Conrad Hilton invented the pillow and made millions by building hotels around them. Early pillows consisted mostly of what was at hand, like armadillos and rocks. Later efforts became more sophisticated incorporating bags to keep the armadillos and the rocks secured nicely under the head.


  2. the soft pillows today were invented by a Greek person (not sure on the name,  but the first pillow were made of stone and created by cavemen but then used more commonly by Egyptians.
