If the word you are wishing to use is "invented," then it is God.

Those who answered Edison were incorrect.  He invented the light BULB, but he did NOT invent LIGHT.

More to the point, God CREATED light... oh, and He said that it was GOOD!

In 1806 Englishman Humphrey Davy invented a rudimentary light bulb. Then in 1879 American Thomas Edison patented the light bulb.

I don't know what you mean by "light". The sun brings us daylight. Who made the sun? Some would say God.

light is made as the same time as dark is made there for both can co exist , with out light there is no dark and with out dark there is no light
