  1. Manny Pacquiao

  2. pac-man coz he is number 2

  3. I'd go with either Cotto or Pavlik, Pac is great, but those two guys are dominating their divisions while taking on elite fighters.

Based on volume, I'd pick Cotto, wins over Judah and Mosely were extremely impressive to me.

    To the guy below:

Pac has basically lost both fights to JMM (who was coming off recent losses) his wins against Barrera and Morales were good, but both were well past their primes (both also coming of recent losses, and remeber Morales beat him too).  Cotto is undefeated, and has beat top level guys, that win over Mosely who was coming off a huge KO of Vargas, was the most impressive win by any top fighter being mentioned.

    To the guy above:

I think we know what weightclass Pac is in.......

Pac is very, very beatable, he doesn't have top shelf techincal ability or great variety in his offense - Cotto is the real deal to me.

  4. Thats a tough call, you could make the case for so many, nobody is a clear cut favorite. Pac Man is super- talented, but he's about to get what seems to be a good test in David Diaz, and then maybe Nate Campbell. Cotto has TWO big ones coming up, in Margarito and Paul Williams. Finish those first. And then we really should wait and see until after Pavlik and Calzaghe meet up, and even that hinges on Calzaghe getting past Roy Jones if they fight, cause that's a winnable fight for Jones.  Right now, we really are in wait and see mode.

  5. emmanuel manny "pacman" pacquiao of the philippines!!! mabuhay ang pilipinas!!!

  6. Manny Pacquiao

    why?because he's the,

    -WBC Super Featherweight champion

    --Ring Magazine Super Featherweight Champion

    -WBC International Super Featherweight champion

    -Ring Magazine Featherweight Champion

    -IBF Super Bantamweight Champion

    -WBC Flyweight Champion

-HBO fighter of the year 2006

    -HBO most exciting fighter 2006

-The most exciting boxer in the planet today

  7. Just based on accomplishment alone, I'd have to say Manny Pacquiao. He has done a lot over the last three or four years, earning defeats and giving great performances over Marco Antonio Barerra (twice), Erik Morales (three times), and Juan Manuel Marquez (twice). Those are three of Mexico's best around that division. He also has a couple of credible names in between those three fighters, like Oscar Larios and Jorge Solis.

Now, based on accomplishment and skill, Miguel Cotto has to be mentioned in the conversation. Cotto is still undefeated and skill-for-skill, I think he would be over Pacquiao.

Because, I can't take away from what Pacquaio has done and because his method of fighting has worked, though maybe wreckless at times, thus far against the world class Mexican opponents, I would have to give Manny Pacquiao the number one spot.

  8. thumbs up to joe brown, excellent answer sir.....i can't improve on it.

  9. pac-man

  10. Pacman definitely. I would of maybe had Pacquiao ahead of Mayweather anyway based on the fact that he has always fought the best opposition in his division whilst Mayweather hasnt.

Im thinking the answerer above must be joking or something after we have just witnessed Pavlik fight a virtually unknown Brit (i mean i only know who Lockett is because i am British myself and a huge boxing fan) and Cotto just beat up on a fighter from the contender series. Pacquiao has fought Marquez, Barrera, Morales in his last three all certain hall of famers and two are outright legends already. I am taking his answer to be sarcasm, it must be.
