Who is A.M. Spaulding?

Question

I found an aged book of poetry in a box in a closet in my house called "Poems by A.M. Spaulding" Try as I might, I can find no information on A.M. Spaulding, and I would think (s)he doesn't exist but for the book that I have in front of me. Anyone know who this figure was?

Other A.M. Spauldings also turn up in a simple internet search, including one who was an officer in the Army in Michigan in the 1880s, and another who entered Ellis Island in 1893. But while you don;t say when your poems were written, I'd guess the link is to a book by the same author.

I couldn't find anything about her either.  Probably a one hit wonder and never had anything else published.

i've never heard of him at all. do you happen to have a title of one of his poems. you might could do a search based off of that...
