I got an e-mail from these people say I won something and I was to pay 80.00 by march 25th so I want to fine out about this person al tho I am not going to send him any money

The only Global comp I can find are a stocking manufacturer and distributor, but you are quite right not to send these people any money. There are any number of companies who do what these people do and if there is any money it will be considerably less than you pay to precess your claim or else it will arrive in a form that you can not or will not bother to use..things such as "money-off" vouchers for car rental and dining out it Guatemala.

The usual way it works is that you pay for your claim to be processed and they send you a date..say six months from now, by which time it will all be signed ,sealed and delivered...in the meantime they continue to contact other people and collect other processing fees and come the dead-line, they have ceased trading or gone bankrupt and their offices have been taken over by another company that does the same thing and is run by the same people but which has no obligation to pay the previous companies debts.

You tend to go on being targeted for a while, often by apparently different companies, once they have got your name and address or email address, asking them to discontinue this never works but I have found that suggesting to them that as I have won so much money I am prepared to authorise them to take the processing fee from my winnings rather than sending them anything.and especially not my banking details which they will not need to know if they pay themselves directly from my "winnings" does tend to dishearten them. basically, if it looks like a lemon, smells like a lemon and claims to be an orange, then it is a lemon with an honesty problem.
