Who is Going to Win the NL East?

The Mets have a 1.5 game lead over the Phillies with less than 40 games to go.

Who knows, but I think the Phillies have a better chance. They have allowed 22 less runs than the Mets and have a better road record.

Phillies.....This series coming up is pretty key in my opinion.  The Mets play the Braves who are a better team than they've been and I think they can do good against the Mets...The Phils are playing the Nats who have the worst record....the nats are kind of our Achilles heel but they're on a major losing streak...So if we sweep them and the Braves win at least 2, then we can be right back in it.  The Mets have pretty good starting pitching, just like the Phillies but the Mets bullpen loses games for them and ours has been phenomenal. That is a key thing that will lead to an NL East championship.  Phillies will be NL East champs.

If the Mets can blow a 7 game lead with 17 games left, they can blow a 1.5 game lead with 38-9 games left.

It will be the Mets. They've got three guys pitching well enough to be the ace of most staffs, they've got the offense starting to go on all cylinders, and they have a similar schedule to the Phillies. Plus, they have about six games left against each other, and the Phillies haven't been able to beat the Mets this season.

A tough question but i think it'll turn out to be the Mets. Pedro is going to dominate during the season. And David Wright is going to be the best third baseman in the NL. Standing wise the Mets will tower over the Phillies and Marlins
