Who is Joe Biden, Really?

It seems Yahoo does not know who either Obama or Biden are, according to the spell checker.

Will this be the dream team?

Why or Why not?

He and Obama are merely political tools, nothing more, nothing less. They were chosen to do the bidding of the political left and certainly not on their merit. I frankly don't see the logic in either choice. They will lose again.

Biden has been in the Senate for 36 years.  He is a family man that has working class roots and during his time in office he has not become wealthy by any stretch of the imagination.  He has by and large a moderate voting record that leans left and has worked exceedingly well with his colleagues on both sides of the aisle in the Senate.  

Most importantly, his expertise on foreign affairs is acknowledged by members of both parties, Presidents and foreign heads of state.  For example, when the crisis in Georgia erupted, Georgia's President sent an urgent message for Biden to come see him.  That is the kind of respect he commands.

He is a passionate campaigner that connects well with people.  He has been known to talk a lot, but in large part that is due to his extensive knowledge of many subjects.  He engages in self-depreciating humor as an antidote to his tendency to tell you what he thinks and then tell you again.  But he is direct and unafraid to tell anyone what he thinks directly to their face.  While he is not without minor flaws and has stuck his foot in his mouth occasionally, altogether he brings a wealth of experience and knowledge to the Democratic ticket.  I believe he will be an asset during the campaign and a trusted and valuable adviser to Obama if elected in November.

Google Biden Unions.  Obama's history is clear, he's entrenched with Chicago mob machine.  Democrats - Unions.  Earmarks = Democrats funneling to unions.

If you ask me, he is that rare politician who is too busy representing his constituents and doing his job to CASH IN like most of his contemporaries.

It's a dream team, because if most pols were like Biden - there would be CHANGE in Washington.
