  1. Id think men. Women's "value" as designated by society is usually in their looks and sexuality. As that fades with age, in many respects so does their social value.

  2. women seem a lot happier when im finished with them.

  3. I think that study is based on men and woman who are married.  Study shows that married older men are happier, where as single older woman are happier.  That's based on an average statistics.  Of coarse there are a lot of variations.  But it looks as though woman get over looking after a man.  lol

It sure is a mans world.

Try being a woman and you'll understand why we're grumpy.

  4. it doesnt matter if you are a man or a woman. if you have God in your life, they can be equally happy.

  5. true

  6. could be true...

    they say............

as men age they become more suave and debonair..

    women just age...

poor us............. no wonder we have this tucked and that lifted and..................

  7. I dont think its a gender issue but a person issue I have met my share of grumpy people both male and female and i think its due to life satisfaction and these days people seem to be less and less satisfied so they are grumpier.

  8. yes because society says that as a man gets older he gets better like wine, and if a women gets older than she needs botox and surgery or they should just disappear because her beauty is gone so now she is worthless. Its no wonder men are happier.

  9. I can see that - I'd say that's true. We don't like being thought of as old or especially as dispensable for a younger, newer gal.

Wait - I just thought of my grandfather. He was quite grumpy. His favorite word was GD (bad word). He said it all the time.

    It's a toss-up really.

  10. i believe women are happier in my life. the ones i know (me included) get to work a part time job they love, look after their children and have a great work/life balance.

i like the fact i get to work and stay at home on my terms. i have a fulfilling job not just chasing money. i get loads of time with my daughter. my mum is 54 and she is a nurse part time and spends the rest of the time with the family.

everyday is a blessing to me and life is whatyou make it

  11. i think men are more happier because they live more in the moment and they dont think that deep , emotions dont run as deep  they get over hurts easier etc

  12. YES!

  13. I don't think it really matters what gender you are; people have good days and bad ones. I think it has more to do with your surroundings and the people in your life more than it does your gender.

  14. women have to make babies AND work another job.

i would be happy just making babies and cleaning the house. I don't want a d**n job, have to pay bills, and be responsible for that c**p. let my man do it. I can be a kid forever just as long as i can pop out a few.

but feminists screwed that up. and so did the bad economy.

i can't understand why feminists glorify work.

  15. Yes according to a recent study that made the news head line as well today.

  16. Nope.

There is no evidence for this.

Women tend to live longer than men so if some are "grumpy" its likely to be from the arthritis pain.  Don't worry, you'll get old and arthritic too.  And crankier than even now (although you're off to a good start).
