I like what you said Blue! I would strike with you!! Im tired of only Republicans and Democrats why not have a third political party that actually has a chance to win???? Elections would be so much more fascinating!

  1. Don't vote or vote for Nader.

  2. I've at this point decided to vote for Barr.

I am a Libertarian, but, for a while I liked Obama.

Now I am voting for Barr.  It is our duty to preserve freedom in America, not to just preserve America under whatever means neccessary.  I can not in good conscience vote for either of those two.

  3. I'm writing in a friend of mine.  I can't support either of these bozos.

  4. If Ron Paul will file the one page form my state needs to have his votes counted in this state, I'd vote for him.  Otherwise as close as I can come and have it counted.  McCain and Obama are impossible.

  5. My choices fall into 4 tiers.

As a Libertarian, my first support would be for Bob Barr of the Libertarian party.

    http://www.lp.org/

    http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bob_Barr

    http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Libertarian

Granted, he has a shady past as a Republican,

but as the LP candidate is quite unlikely to be president,

I can afford to be ideological.

However, should there be those who are truer in their Libertarianism, I'd support them.

I suppose a Steve Kubby would have been preferable:

but I had other pressing commitments of my time at the time of the Libertarian Party primary.

Next, I support minority party candidates,

    and some info here too

    http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/United_Stat...

    like Ralph Nader

    or Cynthia McKinney.

Of those who ran in the major parties, my choice would be Ron Paul.

Finally of the 3, now 2, contenders

(Obama, McCain, and when she was running, Hillary),

    I support Obama,

as I oppose this costly war,

    http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Iraq_War

    http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Financial_c...

he opposed it from the beginning,

and he can be a challenge to the insiders

---of whom McCain, the Bush's and Clintons, are clearly members of.

  6. im on the fence between bob bar and mccain.  I just am trying to see how badly i dont want to see obama as president.

  7. Me..Ron Paul.http://www.theobamafile.com/ObamaPolitic...     http://www.rense.com/general81/mcroth.ht...

  8. You COULD vote third party, but they will not win.

Bob Barr and Ralph Nader are the major 3rd party candidates.  Vote for whichever one will hurt John McCain more.

  9. I'm going to be a sore thumb and draw a little box out to the side and write beside it, "None of the above" and I'm going to check it.  ...orrrrrrrrr if Ron Paul is on the ballot, I'm going for him.

  10. i know how you feel! thank God i cant vote yet

  11. i dont like either but McCain seems the lesser evil.  Illegal immigration is my primary concern as I live in AZ and while they are both too lax on it Obama is a bit more than McCain.  Not to mention Obama has had less than a year in a political office and always speaks in open end to be able to edit his opinion later if people disagree.

What i really wish is that everyone would strike at the polls for new candidates.  But that wont ever happen.

  12. Then dont vote at all..lol...If I could vote it would be Obama..

  13. It's easy. Simply vote for Obama, cause the country needs him. You will see.

  14. Well you can vote for Bob Barr if you believe in the destruction of all government. Also you can vote for Ralph Nader for the far left and I'm too cool to be part of a party vote. Perhaps you could vote Green party for Cynthia McKinney as well if consumer protection doesn't awe you as to qualification for president.

Oh h**l, I'm getting bored already listing all of them. Here's the complete list so far of third party candidates

    http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/2008_third_...

If none of them impressive you, go for a protest vote. Christopher Walken for example, or Cthulu if you don't want to settle for the lesser evil.

  15. I don't like McCain but I think that he will s***w things up SLIGHTLY LESS then Obama would because I'm from Illinois and Obama is nothing but Mayor Daley's puppet... A product of the Daley Machine.

If Obama is elected president, Daley's BROTHER will take his place in State.

WE DO NOT NEED THAT TO HAPPEN!

We already have c**p representation in Obama (Who doesn't do his goddamed JOB) and Bloygo (Who is a Corrupt Scum Bag that will be going down shortly) and Tod Stroger (Who puts dozens of family members in triple digit positions while cutting all County aid)

I would rather keep the evil that is office now... Obama... then face the evil of having an incompetent person in white house AND even more Clout-Power in my Local Politics...

I will probably vote McCain because he is the better of the two... But choosing between two piles of dog c**p still means you need to choose which pile of c**p you like more...

We all lose no matter what...

We just need to figure out which pile of c**p smells slightly less like sh*t then the other...

  16. I know some people who are sitting this one out...

  17. do not vote then, why waste a vote.   you have to be  pragmatic  - there are only two  contenders Obama and McCain the  rest  is  wasted vote.

try to identify issues which are closer to you  from either.  I do not vote on character - at the end it is a party nominee and he will do what party wants. Remember when McCain   was considered a  maverick?  is he yet?  I  do not think so  -  party line.

  18. Third parties would have a better chance if more people actually voted for them versus voting the "lessor of the two evils."

Then the media would have to report on the third parties too which would increase the average person's awareness of third parties.
