Who is Pacquiao's next opponent?

I thought it was Valero for sure, but i recently heard it's now Soto? Can someone please straighten out the facts for me, im getting confused.

it was supposed to be edwin valero.. apparently edwin has troubles in getting a medical clearance in las vegas because of his MRI results.

But according to some news, yes, soto is next on the list..but just this morning, celebrated trainer Freddie Roach wants Manny Pacquiao to fight Oscar De La Hoya rather than waste time taking on Humberto Soto in November as posted in inquirer.

by july 28, pacquiao will have to choose which belt he will give up because he currently owns the two WBC world titles.

most likely, pacman would have to give up the 130 belt.. Roach said pacman is getting bigger, he couldnt fit in the 130 division anymore.

Lets see him fight Valuev Pac is the perfect size to use his balls as a speedbag. Little Mac beat Tyson. So little Pac can jump and upper cut Valuev.

allright bro this one is in the air he was and i say was suppose to fight soto but freddie roach wants to wait untill his right hand is fully healed and would like to see him fight december and oscar de la hoya is looking for an opponent for his last fight in december and would go down to 147lbs if the fight is good enough and freddie roach said pacman will knock oscar out so maybe they are trying to set it up but no one is sure yet

bob  arum did not make any statement yet.i would prefer sotto for pacman.the  fight will be more on pacman vengeance.unlike valero all he got is power and nothing more.

He will be fighting Soto next.

He had agreed to fight Valero, but the NSAC would not license Valero to fight in Vegas.  Valero has been issued a license in Texas, and he will likely fight a big name in Texas fairly soon.  Typically when you get licensed in one state the other states will grant you a boxing license.  Valero could not get the License in Nevada, so Bob Arum scrapped it.

Pac will destroy Soto.  

It still might happen for Pac-Valero, but likely next year.  If Valero gets a couple quality wins it could become a megafight.
