Rocha is a 31-year-old Portuguese defender who played for Tottenham Hotspur between 2007 and 2009, after playing for Benfica for five years. He had an unhappy spell at Spurs, and saw his contract cancelled last summer before a move to Belgian club Standard Liege. He has now cancelled his deal there, and has returned to England with struggling Pompey.
