I read on another board that she is a commentator or something. Where? For what venue? What did she say? Was it so disrespectful?

  1. I'm not sure what she said, but Sue Barker is a former professional tennis player from the U.K., ranked as high as #3 in her career, and  was the 1976 French Open women's champion.  As a commentator, she has been known to be a bit sarcastic, so she probably said something facetiously that came across as offensive to some people (a.k.a. Federer fans).  People need to lighten up!

  2. lets look into this...im sure whatever it was Sue said should be true but only it was delivered too straight for disgruntled Fed fans...where can we find that out?

  3. This is Sue Barker: http://www.flickr.com/photos/arcobaleno/... She's a former player and currently a commentator for the BBC in the UK.

From what I could tell she didn't say anything controversial or disrespectful about Federer. She just wasn't piling on the praise on Federer like her American counterparts. If Federer gave a performance worth praising today I'm sure she would've sounded better to those who were offended.
