Who is Sarah Palin from ALaska?

As a Republican I don't think she is a good pick. why not Tim Pawlenty? why?why? even Tom Ridge would have been good. I know he is trying to get hillary supporters but I think after the DNC they are unified and will back obama.

She's a great choice.  A conservative reformer who fights for drilling.  An avid hunter and beauty contestant winner.  She's a woman's woman, if you will.

She's an excellent choice, she is the only one out of the lot of them with executive experience, having been a former Governor, she will appeal to woman on both sides,she relates well to men  having been in office rubbing shoulders with the big boys. go back in history more former Governors have made it to that high office than Senator's.

She has a special needs child, she has son in the army, 5 children

To coincide with the "hillary" ad McCain's team pushed out there recently...

This is a not-too-veiled attempt to draw Hillary's voters to the GOP.....

Their policy platforms are entirely different though so I am not too sure about the feasibility of this at all...

Oh, and the coincedence that exxon and chevron have lost every legal battle about the Thompsons Point lease since 1998 can't be overlooked....The GOP wants and is fighting for pro-drilling people...

We all know what will happen to the oil industry if we were to ever find an alternative for fuels.....
