well im a girl nd i kinda think that guys r a better friend b/c they dont start gossip like us girls do :] but i do have really close friends that r girls that i could talk about stuff that i cant talk to guys about

you can never say. if someone says a boy or a girl is always the better friend. that person is thinking very stereotypical and is very sexist. but there are some things which are common. girls tend to have girls as best friends because girls,unlike boys, can undrestand and react to other girls' feelings. but there is a high chance that a girl stabs her female friend in the back for useless things. guys are generally loyal but they cant undrestand a girls feelings very well and this sometimes causes bad misundrestanding. I hate to tell this because I am a boy, but the criminal offenders, drug dealers, and gangs are usually males ( at least in Canada, Ontario.)

Well it doesnt neccesarily matter. But in a way it does.

Guys: They dont start drama and talk behind your back like girls do.

Girls: Best friends;they love to shop; make-up; talks  about boys lol.

I think most of it would depend on their personality.

im a girl, and right now. i really need a BOY thats a friend! like a REAL friend. i find that boys aren't AS sensitive or anything. they're just fun and get over things quickly. for me, at this moment, i really want to have a BOY bestfriend. girls get mad at each other too quickly

some guys are awesome friends and then some arent.
